There are many things that are a big deal in life (my profundity is blowing your mind, no?). In the grand scheme of things, not finishing a project by a self-imposed deadline...not such a big deal.
Your kid starting kindergarten and riding a school bus for the first time? Big deals, both.
Today was the day of big deals for us. The biggest deal of all, the day was a success, because "school is great, and [he] loves it."
Which of course, is awesome (school attendance being mandatory and all).
More in the way of craft tomorrow (no really, I have something amazing to show you--it might actually blow your mind a little, or not), but tonight, we are still relishing in the big deals of today.

Aw, how cute! My niece starts kindergarten next year and I am excited and a little sad at the same time. They grow up sooo fast! Totally cute pictures!

Awww...kindergarten! Congrats to all of you. What a big milestone. I am glad he loves school. Melody is starting daycare tomorrow. Just a few days a week, but it's still weird not to have by my side 24/7. I'm looking forward to it.

Very cool. I think for our family J's first day of Kinder was a bigger deal for me than for him. Glad A had a great first day!
