handspun toddler scarf

handspun toddler scarf

little sir's handspun scarf

Pattern: by Me! Um, it's a garter stitch scarf. I cast on 40 stitches and knit till I ran out of yarn.

Yarn: Handspun by Yours Truly. The roving was Corriedale dyed in the Bermuda colorway by the Sheep Shed. I got the roving at MDSW last year. It's not what one would call "soft." My goal was a worsted weight yarn, let's just say it was around worsted with the characteristic of being thick and thin. There were 4 oz. in the bundle.

Needles: US 6 (they were Casein needles, it was an interesting knitting experience).

Little Sir picked out the roving for this. He was pretty excited about the whole deal. He asked for a scarf, so that is what I made him.
