I figured talking about Rhinebeck was as good a topic as any to start talking on the blog again.
I headed up with the fam on Sunday. Having never attended a wool and sheep festival on a Sunday, I thought that things would have been fairly quiet and that there would be lower attendance. Apparently, I am fairly stupid. The show was packed on Sunday. But given the weather and common interest of all parties involved it was still an enjoyable thing.
You know, looking at sheep and eating food in the setting of pretty fall foliage.
Since I went on Sunday, I missed seeing all my knitterly friends who attended on Saturday; but, it was still a good day.
The boys were bummed that there were no kids rides this year; but, they still had a lot to do.
I didn't acquire anything new while there (shocking, I know). The only things we bought were the things we ate. I didn't need anything, and I honestly feel like I have so much in my stash right now, I didn't feel compelled to buy anything. So I guess I will get to using some of all that stuff I have sitting in my stash. If you went to Rhinebeck, I hope you had a good time. If you didn't, think about going in the future. It's a good time.
